These paintings were inspired by a specific form of poetry, the Pantoum. The collage is done with paper and paint on a loose piece of cotton fabric. When the painting is complete that fabric is applied to a stretched canvas. There is a link on the full-view page of "Play" that will open a page to learn more about Pantoum poetry.
